Shamrock Rovers FC has announced a new girls-only Halloween football camp for the October school break. The four-day event will run from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th October 2026 at the Belgard Community Centre, according to the club's official announcement.

Shamrock Rovers FC said they are "delighted to announce a special Girls Only Halloween Camp, taking place during the October mid-term break." The camp is designed for girls aged between five and thirteen years old. Sessions will be held daily from 10am until 1:30pm. The cost is €95 per child, with a discounted sibling rate of €180 for two children.

Each participant will receive a full kit of SRFC camp gear. This includes a camp jersey, a football, a water bottle, and a drawstring bag. The initiative is supported by The Square Tallaght, a local shopping centre. The club has publicly thanked The Square Tallaght for their backing of this community programme.

Places for the camp are limited, so early booking is strongly recommended. This camp adds to the club's ongoing work in grassroots development, which runs alongside the first team's push for the league title.

The announcement comes as the senior Shamrock Rovers side sits first in the League of Ireland Premier Division. They have 56 points from 29 games, holding a six-point lead at the top of the table. Their recent form has seen a run of draws, with the last five results reading DDDDL. Their most recent match was a 0-0 draw at home to Shelbourne on September 4th. The full squad list and player details for the title-chasing side are available on our squad page.

The focus for Stephen Bradley's team now shifts to the next league fixture. Shamrock Rovers host Waterford at Tallaght Stadium on Friday, September 18th. Waterford currently occupy eighth place in the Premier Division table. A look at the standings shows the Hoops are well positioned but will be keen to turn recent draws into wins to secure the championship. The girls' camp begins on October 27th.
